Imagine if instead of being fined or jailed for a crime they took you to an island around a 1/2 hour by boat away from your home land for your scentence. Well this is house these people had it. This island is called the naked Island because when they found it nothing was their. Perfect for prisoners to not escape. They than turned it to a prison for pollitical prisoners. One island for girls and one for guys.
About a half hour walk just on the other side of the island is what looks like a town but, it really is a few buildings for the workers to enjoy themselves when off duty and for the prisoners to work all the time.
Once the yougo war started all prisoners where released to supposedly fight in it. After that tourists by boats went to the island and destoyed most of the beautiful buildings. They now turned it into a tourist spot for us to see what it was but, not much is their and everything looks the same. All we got to see was its history
